Platform Engineer
Own the infrastructure, pipelines, and tooling that let a small team ship continuously and sleep at night — making the right thing the easy thing for every engineer here.

About the role
Shipping continuously instead of heroically only works if the platform underneath is solid. As a Platform Engineer, you own that platform: the infrastructure-as-code, the CI/CD pipelines, the observability, and the developer experience that makes deploying safe and boring.
You will treat internal engineers as your users. When something is painful, slow, or fragile, you fix it at the root. You set sensible defaults so the secure, observable, reliable path is also the path of least resistance.
This role is fully remote and open to candidates based in the United States. You will have real ownership over architectural decisions and the autonomy to choose the right tools for the job.
What you'll do
- Own infrastructure-as-code across our cloud environments (AWS / GCP).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that make deploys fast, safe, and reversible.
- Set up observability — metrics, logs, traces, and alerting that surfaces real problems.
- Improve developer experience: local environments, build times, and self-serve tooling.
- Own security fundamentals — secrets management, least-privilege access, and dependency hygiene.
- Plan for reliability, cost, and scale, and write the runbooks that keep on-call calm.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Strong with a major cloud (AWS or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar).
- Hands-on with containers and orchestration (Docker, and Kubernetes or equivalent).
- Solid scripting / programming (Python, Go, or TypeScript).
- A reliability and security mindset, with real incident-response experience.
- Clear written communication — your runbooks and docs are part of the job.
Nice to have
- Experience running data or ML / AI workloads in production.
- Cost-optimization wins you can point to.
- A track record of improving developer experience at a small, fast-moving team.
Stack & tools
- AWS / GCP
- Terraform
- Docker / Kubernetes
- CI/CD
- Observability
