Product Designer

Own product design end to end — from the research and the rough idea to the high-fidelity flows the team ships — and keep the bar high on craft across everything we make.

  • Remote · USA
  • Full-time
  • Senior · Design

About the role

We make software that has to earn its keep in the real world, which means design here is not decoration applied at the end. You are involved from the first conversation about the problem, and you stay involved through to the details of the shipped product.

As a Product Designer, you own the full arc: understanding the user and the constraints, exploring directions, and producing the high-fidelity work that engineers build from. You also help us keep a coherent design system so quality scales as we grow.

This role is fully remote and open to candidates based in the United States. You will work directly with engineers and clients — no layer of management translating your work for you.

What you'll do

  • Own product design end to end: discovery, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished high-fidelity UI.
  • Run lightweight research and turn what you learn into clear design decisions.
  • Build and maintain design systems and component libraries that keep quality consistent.
  • Partner closely with engineering so designs ship faithfully and feasibly.
  • Prototype interactions and motion to pressure-test ideas before they are built.
  • Present and defend design decisions clearly to the team and to clients.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of product design with a portfolio of shipped, real-world products.
  • Mastery of Figma and modern prototyping workflows.
  • Strong systems thinking — you design components and patterns, not just screens.
  • A sharp eye for typography, layout, hierarchy, and interaction detail.
  • Comfort working directly with engineers and speaking their language.
  • Clear communication and the ability to give and take direct feedback.

Nice to have

  • Front-end fluency (HTML / CSS, or React) to prototype closer to the real thing.
  • Experience designing for AI-driven or data-heavy products.
  • Brand, illustration, or motion design range beyond core product work.

Stack & tools

  • Figma
  • Prototyping
  • Design systems
  • User research
  • Motion / interaction
